• JD for Splunk engineers – Platform engineering

Responsibilities:

• Technical and configuration work to ensure Splunk Universal forwarder is installed
  and running.
• Check if the host has been correctly whitelisted to receive configuration from Splunk
  Deployment Server.
• Check the endpoint configuration to send the collected logs by Splunk UF is set.
• Check the SSL certificates used by Splunk UF is valid and has enough permissions.
• Check if the connectivity of Splunk UF with Splunk deployment server and Splunk
  indexer cluster is working as expected.
